In addition to social media content for Trivia LA, I have also written hundreds of blog posts for PlayTriviaLA.com. Many of these posts are recaps for live public games, but I’ve also written on a number of topics related to writing, hosting, and playing trivia. I have also written copy for a number of businesses for the web. Published at cypressseacove.com, I wrote the “About/History” copy for Cypress Sea Cove, a private venue located in Malibu, California.

Poetry

In addition to long form writing, I am also skilled at capturing soaring emotion and stories of depth in small spaces with few words. Often inspired by science fiction, fantasy, video games, and childhood stories, I write short poetry in the hopes of capturing the feeling of looking back while drifting forward.

Long Prose

Flashlight is a currently unpublished short coming-of-age sci-fi novel. My first venture into long form prose, I set out to play with the traditional conventions of the novel as a form by drawing from the long tradition of narrative prose and repackaging old ideas for comtemporary readers.

Webcomics

As a young writer developing my storytelling skills, I especially enjoyed creating sequential art. As I have developed and matured, I have returned to this medium many times, often working with visual artists and sometimes providing cartooning myself.

Some comics I have written and published include [Citation Needed] (in collaboration with Trystan Falcone of Penny Arcade’s Strip Search and Aquisitions Incorporated: C Team), Action Food, and DinoSandwich 64 (with Mary Tanner of Internet-Webcomic).
